Parents start their school research with questions on their child’s academics for good reason. Board affiliation, exam results, college admissions are important. Discerning parents, the ones that have nurtured children to adulthood, would agree it’s rarely, if ever, a school that forms the character of a child.

TAIPS (The Adhyayana International Public School) Coimbatore understands that a school solely focused on academics is doing only half of its job. Parents have the right to see the whole picture when making decisions about their child’s future.
Knowledge and the application thereof is what is evaluated in academics, and TAIPS takes it seriously. Knowledge, however, does not answer the question of why some graduates flourish in their careers while some equally qualified peers do not. Emphasis on different skills builds key capabilities within students, and these are not ‘soft’ skills.
Resilience: This is developed by committing to participate in physical activities and by trying again to reach for a desired goal.
Teamwork: This is developed through cooperative games and activities.
Creativity: This is developed through unrestricted participation in the arts and other areas.
Leadership: This is developed through undertaking various roles and responsibilities
Adaptability: This is developed through exposure to different formats, roles and activities.
They are the skills learned and practiced at school which build one’s career, relationships and life in general.

An Important Note To Prospective Parents:
Most parents who visit our school take a brief look at a classroom. A select few enquire about, or request to observe, an Afternoon Activity Session, Student Council Meeting or Robotics Lab Demonstration. It is during these sessions that a school’s true identity and culture is most evident.
The students that graduate from our schools who know calculus and chemistry but are unable to engage in a meaningful discourse and who have difficulties getting along with others and dealing with setbacks are the students who are not fully nurtured. The schools who understand this and invest in the academic as well as the pastoral care of students are the schools who have true graduates and are ready to face the world. TAIPS Academy AS always holds us to this standard.
