This combines elements of drama, music, visual arts, and performing arts. The script, the costumes, makeup, promotions, lights, sound and sets are all student-designed; Every student is involved in the fun loving festival productions of drama, comedy and music.
Go Trek Club
Trek life is a simple, daily repetition of eat, walk, sleep..over and over again. This simplicity clears away the hustle and bustle of “normal” life, and allows lots of time to enjoy each other's company, to marvel amidst the clean, clear, crisp foothills of Maruthamalai. It is definitely an adrenaline rush activity. The students trek as a group and participate in different group activities.
Arts & Crafts Club:
FUN with Colors allows young learners to develop their knowledge of the elements of art and some principles of design. Learning builds on previous skills and key concepts are taught for a colorful experience of color in ceramics, drawing, and fibers, painting and printing. This would unleash all the creative cells to have great colorful experience.
Physical instruction centers on the development of spatial awareness and gross motor skills. This enables students to better comprehend and follow the rules of games and allows for the introduction of modified games.
Yoga & Meditation
Yoga is a physical, mental and spiritual discipline originating in ancient India. This helps in nurturing the child's potential for physical, social, emotional, intellectual and spiritual growth.
During the year, students take standardized tests and a writing assessment. The objective of our standardized testing program is to gain information about the school's learning program and help teachers differentiate instruction based on student's level of perception.
This club helps students in becoming technology literate so that they have the skills required to access information in various formats, evaluate it, and use it to further their educational experiences
Counseling in the Elementary School is full of challenges. Students are still on the learning curve for self-control, social skills and emotional growth. New students and their parents are invited to attend an orientation program that helps them better understand the school's mission and vision. Experts are invited to address issues related to parenting. Topics are varied. For example, how to deal with home fun, setting limits, teaching decision making, and so on.
